When Stitch Fix was founded more than a decade ago, we set out to help people solve a very human problem – how do I find clothes that make me look stylish and feel my best? We were inspired by the opportunity to create a new client-first styling experience, offering an alternative to impersonal, time-consuming and inconvenient traditional shopping.
The magic of Stitch Fix is our ability to help clients find what they love through the relationships we foster with them – a partnership built on listening, learning and understanding. Over the past 13 years, we’ve been privileged to help millions of people discover the styles they love that fit perfectly so they always look – and feel – their best by connecting with our clients on a personal level, seamlessly fitting into their lives.
And, the challenge we set out to address when we first launched is even more prevalent today. A recent survey of our core clients on their overall experience with traditional shopping discovered that 90% of them struggle to determine which styles work best for them and 66% find the endless choices overwhelming.*
Today, we’re excited to premiere Retail Therapy, a new content series that explores some of the biggest shopping, fit and style challenges, and how we address them. Shopping trips often start with hope but end in disappointment due to a number of factors, ranging from crowds and endless choices to harsh dressing room lighting. Retail Therapy, which will run across broadcast and digital platforms, explores these challenges through the lens of humor and empathy, while demonstrating that Stitch Fix is the solution.
To complement this content, we are also premiering spots featuring powerful testimonials from our clients that focus on the convenience we offer – from helping a mom avoid the hassle of dragging her kids from one dressing room to another, to sparing someone who dreads shopping a trip to the mall.
Everything we do is centered around supporting our clients in finding items they love. We recently launched updates to our client experience, including a refresh of the Stitch Fix brand, all designed to better serve our clients and deepen our connections with them.
By delivering a personalized and client-centric experience, we’re making getting dressed empowering and fun, not overwhelming. We are here to show people there is a better way to shop. Because there is.
